Is Siberia belong to Mongolian in the history?
According to the National Geographic map dated October 1996,
the northernmost reach of the Mongol empire was approximately
55 degrees latitude, from the Ural mountains in the west to the
Amur River in the east. Thus only the southern strip of Siberia
was under Mongol control.

But I found it on the web: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberia
It started in the 16th century and by the mid-17th century the
Russian control had reached the Pacific.
